Apple Sauces: 3 Different Interesting Recipes


Apple is a fruit which has endless options of making different dishes either for breakfast, in main course , desserts, drinks or making sauces of them. It can be bake, used in salads, eaten raw or turn into interesting sauces. Here are 3 different recipes of apple sauces.

1) Spiced Apple sauce with Red wine


1 cinnamon stick

6-8 cardomon pods

1tsp of whole cloves

2 big apples, peeled and chopped

2 cups of wine


Place spices in cotton muslin bag tied in string and put them in heavy bottomed saucepan

Add chopped apples to saucepan and pour 2 cups of any red wine

Stew the chopped apples in wine and spices over low flame

cool them to room temperature and blend them in food processor until the applesauce become smooth and uniform

2) Roasted Apple Butter


8 medium sized apples, peeled and cut into pieces

2 cups of unsweetwned apple juice


Preheat oven to 450 degree F. Arrange apple in roasted pan

Pour apple juice over them.

Bake them for 30 mins until they become light brown.

Using fork or potato masher, mash them thoroughly in roasting pan.

Serve with bread slices.

3) Mapple- Cinnamon Applesauce


6 medium sized tart apples, peeled and cut into pieces

2 medium sized golden apple, peeled and cut into pieces

1/4 cup water

2 tsp pure maple syrup

1/2 ground cinnamon


Combine apple pieces and water in large saucepan.

Bring them to boil and simmer them on reduced heat.

Cover and cook, stirring in between until the apple pieces are soft for 30 mins.

Mash the apples to desired consistency and stir in mapple syrup and cinnamon.
